i would be Noh Salleh if i was a man

i feel like Noh has come full circle for his on-stage image, honestly. remember how he started out as a guy with a genuinely notorious bowlcut that covered most of his face? well, he's doing it again!! (only after jumping around on the stage while banging his head several times.)

i think in most photos he's just really, really lucky with the lighting. all three of the above shows him from three different eras (20's / 10's / 00's) and he looks like he's barely changed, but i swear he's just lucky with the angles...

to be frank if i was a guy i would really try my best to look like Noh. well, in school i can't really imitate his hairstyles (except for the Angin Kencang MV style) so i mean starting in my twenties. aside from music, Noh has also been a huge fashion influence to me! this might come across as crazy because he doesn't really have an extremely distinct style to the point that it's iconic or avant-garde... but he's the turning point in my life that made me decide to lean into gender-neutral clothes. I really want to look like him in any possible way...

it's still unfortunate that i can never find stuff like he wears at any shops or stores. i'm talking denim & varsity jackets, black balloon-cut pants, cool ass leather shoes... also some stuff inspired by romanticised yakuza/japanese gangsters like those bombers with a tiger design on the back.

you can say to me to just get those from Hikari Riders themselves, but my point is i have no money hahah... also even when i do find those kinda stuff i can't really get my mom to agree with buying them because they're "too masculine/hardcore". don't look at me, it's obvious that me and my mom's definitions of "hardcore" are starkly different.

i don't think i have anything else to say right now, other than everything i've said here. but trivia!! : i think Noh's hair in 2008-2010 actually looked adorable. it's so perfectly round for no reason. i also feel like that hairstyle made him appear shorter, especially when he's wearing big windbreakers like on the Jozan show one time. it's stuck with me that i drew it!!
